2022 EESG Pre-conference workshop [Virtual]

The AAG Energy and Environment Specialty Group is pleased to announce the inaugural EESG Pre-conference workshop, to be held virtually on Saturday, January 29th, 2022. This one-day event will combine short talks and workshops focused on manuscript development, pedagogy, and new project ideas, with an opening keynote delivered by Dr. Sarah Knuth, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Durham University.

The pre-conference is intended for early-, mid-, and late-career energy geographers (broadly defined) interested in networking, mentoring, and sharing new ideas. Building on the strengths of the EESG, we intend for this to be a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly space where we can meet, engage, share ideas, collaborate, and build community. In light of the intended interactive nature of this preconference, we would request that participants (1) engage throughout the workshop, and (2) submit materials for paper presentation or workshop participation.

Time: Saturday, January 29th, 2022; 8a - 1.30p PT / 10a - 3.30p CT / 11a - 4.30p ET / 4p - 9.30p GMT (find your time)
